As this is Target.com, who represent a tiny portion of the market, the data about Wii U is not likely to be indicative of trends across all retail stores. Especially when point one is taken into consideration.
What should be taken away from this press release is that consumer gaming products such as the Wii U still continue to be popular items during sales events like Black Friday and the $249 bundle is proving popular. What should not be taken away from this press release is that the Wii U will significantly increase total sales in the U.S. during the month of November.
