I hope not. I don't want MS pulling the trigger on a new generation too soon. But I'm already picking that MS is aiming for Holiday 2017 to launch Xbox One 2. I think they are going assess 2016 sales esp in the USA, and if PS4 starts building too much of a lead they are going to eject from this gen and start another one.
If you want a long generation you don't want the lead console to be selling >2:1 over the number 2 console. MS doesn't just want to be profitable, they want to win, at least in the USA.
