tells me that MS may have finally thrown in the towel of winning... Anywhere, and is instead focus on maximizing their sales and focusing on their own console. Not a bad policy. Sony has been doing this since they have been developing the PS4 (No gimmicks, great power for price ratio, easy to dev for).

This is looking very much like an N64-PSX scenario.

N64- Sold very very well in NA, poorly in Japan, and very poorly in Europe.

XB1- Selling very very well in NA, poorly in Europe, and very very very poorly in Japan.

 

Remeber the PSX really did not start to open a large gap in NA until around mid way through GEN 5.
