I predict 2016 will be up YOY on 2015 and the console won't show any signs of stopping.  It's called the vita for a reason.  It will never die! 


I love the optimism,and really hope it turns out like that, though it will seriously hurt my wallet as I'm collecting English Vita games >_<

But I'll be pretty surprised if Vita is up YoY in 2016. I'd say 2015's lineup has been way better than 2014's and even that hasn't pushed it up YoY. The market adopting PS4 and the transition to Nintendo's next handheld make me feel a bit pessimistic about the Vita's long term viability.


My point is people buying NX are going to be 3DS owners now.  It's not like vita is losing its fans exclusively to it or that 3DS fans won't consider a Vita either.  

 

It's never had a dragon quest game.  How do we know a lot of those fans won't by a Vita to play dragon quest heroes 2 or dragon quest builders.  

 

Or final fantasy fans to play world at warcraft.  on the hardware side all Sony need to do is a Vita 3.0 to keep it going for another 3/4 years.  Software is what matters and 2016 is showing they're serious.

That's what I'm hoping.  Plus a masou spin off and monster hunter online!  

 

Dragons dogma online was a big success on Playstation in Japan so I can't see them not wanting some of that.
