I don't think you can on Steam, unfortunately. Not sure about GOG either. I can think of some workarounds, though I'm not sure if folks will be interested in doing the extra legwork.

I haven't done it, but maybe when gifting something through an email you can keep your anonymity?

 

Also, was I the only one with region problems last year? I hope I don't have them this time.
