I was saying I'd rather have have something stab me in the ass than play a Sonic game.
You did get that right?
Also, let's review the rules for commas.
A direct adress. When talking to someone, if you use their name, put a comma before and/or after it. "Do you get it, alex?"
A list. Simple enough, right? "We need: bananas, apples, and grapes."
A tag question. When the sentence has a question at the end but a statement at the beginning, seperate it with a comma. "Two plus two is four, right?" "Alex swears a lot, doesn't he?"
A compound sentence. When a sentence has two or more independent clauses, seperate them with comma(s). "I have nine PS3 games, and I have twelve Wii games."
A complex sentence. When a sentence has a subordinate clause AT THE BEGINNING, seperate it with a comma. You can find plenty of those examples in this mini lesson.
A prepositional phrase. When a sentence has a prepositional phrase that is 3 words or longer, add a comma. "In the afternoon, I had a nutritous lunch."
I know I missed a lot, but those are the most commonly used, so deal with it.
