I agree while I greatly respect someone who has the talent to do it all, it's very close-minded to shun artists who collaborate with others to put out their music. Who said that making music should be a solitary endeavour anyway? Also it's worth noting that Adele does write her own songs.

No, Bob Dylan wrote his own songs. Check the credits. You will find professional song writers names in each and every one of her hits. If she was talented enough to write her own music, the song writing credits would reflect as much.

You're free to like whatever you want, but if you think she's writting these songs, you're being ripped off and lied to. She is an entertainer, not a song writer. Her name is slapped in with the studio owned song writers name because it helps sell records. Look up the Blurred Lines trial and read Robin Thickes deposition where he basically admits to not even BEING IN THE STUDIO when it was written. When asked why his name was in the credits, his reply was basically "it helps to sell records". You're being lied to.

Her name is always there first because she does write the songs. Her song are very personal, 21 was about a painful breakup and during her performances she often tells the story behind the song, how she the idea came to her.

LIke I said before, I do have the utmost respect for people who do it all by themselves but it's silly to consider that music the only kind of music worth listening to.
