X1 has been staying ahead most times on Walmart.com because it's been at BF type deals all year around (typically console bundle/controller/extra game = $349) . MS seems to give extra attention to Target/Walmart, being they're the biggest discount retailers in the US. Even the floor spaces at their stores focus on Xbox first.
