I love badges lol |
Ok. But I doubt we'll get those this Winter sales.
Part of the cards came from voting the flash sales or, as happened in the last ones, taking part of that minigame to unlock the flash sales. And given that there won't be flash nor daily sales, only those that buy a lot of games will be able to get the cards and the badge.
By the way, a couple of anticipated news:
AMD MOVES PRE-GCN GPUS TO LEGACY
http://www.anandtech.com/show/9815/amd-moves-pre-gcn-gpus-to-legacy
Alongside today’s release of the new Radeon Software Crimson Edition driver set, AMD has published a new page on their driver site announcing that video cards based on the company’s pre-Graphics Core Next architectures have been moved to legacy status. This means that GPUs based on the company’s VLIW5 and VLIW4 architectures – the Evergreen and Northern Islands families – have been retired and will no longer be supported. All of AMD’s remaining supported GPUs are now based on various iterations of the Graphics Core Next architecture.
>> Well, that sad but understandable, the 5 and 6000 cards have more than 5 years. I haven't updated my drivers in a very long time, I always keep leaving it "for tomorrow", and now this happens. At least the guys at wccftech mention, and link the latest stable drivers and the last Beta drivers for them.
Which ones should I download? The old but stable ones or the new Crimson ones but in Beta form? :-/
Now, don't laugh!
