So digital uptake has suddenly flatlined?

Good to know.

Come on. We ALL know this is garbage.  Digital uptake is increasing massively this gen over last gen and I would not be surprised to eventually see retrospective data that showed it accelerated as the this gen progressed.  I think a few titles have the ability to drive that digital uptake too.  Halo is one such title that could do that.

Gamestop has a vested interest in denying the rise of digitial, surely? They want to pereptuate the digital is unpopular and bad mantra.  I also didnt realise Gamestop where now a strong hold of ethics and honesty.

so digital sales for halo massivily spiked to 50%? good to know.

No, this is not garbage, this is reality, and one you seem to be have a hard time living in. you have NO data what so ever to support the claim that Halo 5 sold 50% digital, other than your bias and wishful thinking.

@underlined: i didnt know you were either.

gamestop lied about digital halo sales to try make them selfs look better. even though in the same article they went on to say that Halo, Assassins Creed and Battlefront all underperformed at retail, which also makes them look bad. but wait, they are lying about Halo 5's digital, because thats whats going to make them look bad. not 3 big games from the holidays underperforming at retail, surely.

@bolded:. No its not, not anymore.

and my my, this just released.

Halo is no where to be seen. another indicator that Halo 5 didnt perform massivily well at digitally like you and some others would very desperately want others to believe. and before you go on about how these people are lying as well. here are their sources.

Data

Q: What type of data do we have and where do we get it?

A: Every month we collect the spending data of millions of unique paying online gamers directly from publishers and developers, totaling 50+ publishers and 500+ game titles.

But lets call gamestop liers, even though they say their data is from Microsoft them selfs( yet i dont hear Microsoft calling them out on it, i wonder why?) and FYI this was during an  Inverstors Call, are they legally allowed to lie during those? and lets call SuperDataReaserch liers as well. even though they actually site they get their numbers from publishers. and lets just believe the "analyst" who has his "sources" on the ridiculous 50% digital claim.
