So I was reading on a PCGamer article of modding PC games and how it improves your gaming when I came across a discussion in the comments about Fallout 4 selling more on PS4 and then someone linked this:
I feel what Todd says is a true thing, since PC as a platform doesn't have a gen, doesn't have a set lifespan and a finite limit on what it can do as a platform let alone having finite number of users to collect, there are always new gamers joining PC gaming every single day, week, month and year and it;s been like this since the start of Video gaming. The other thing to note is that while sources suggest Fallout 4 sold "most on PS4" they would be partly right but not absolutely since Steam doesn't release the full sales data and then of course we have multiple physical and digital vendors that are always uncacounted for. The sales on both platforms perform differently as well since with consoles you see that clear surge in sales that go on for a short period of time and then begin to taper off to a close, on PC sales can start off either big or small and grow over time but still continue to go on and on for years on end, Skyrim for example will have sold the most on PC after all these years while sales on consoles would have declined to a close at least 2 years ago, especially with a new gen of consoles for users to focus on.
That and like he says, they are best played on PC, not from a fanboy perspective but as one who made the game on the very platform that makes all video games and also has an insane amount of options and modding capabilities.

I kinda want to make a thread on modding, I think Zero or someone else would do a better job than me though, modding games I believe is always an interesting topic though.
