Official info.

- Today at 10:24 Msk RF's Su-24M bomber was downed during its military mission over the Syrian airspace by Turkish F-16 fighter jet.
- No attempts to contact crew of downed bomber were recorded on our side.
- Su-24M was hit over Syrian territory, crash site is 4km from the Turkish border.
- Both pilots ejected safely, one presumably dead* due to gunfire from earth.
- According to our records Su-24M never left Syrian airspace during its mission, Syrian airspace control supports that.
- According to radar recon of the Hmeimim airbase attacking Turish jet has violated Syrian airspace.
- This violates the airspace security over Syrian territory treaty signed between RF and US, which includes Turkey and rest of coalition.
- We puzzeld by Turkish attempts to conduct NATO conversations over the incident instead of contacting RF representatives.
- Two Mi-8's have been sent for SAR operation over suggested crash site.
- One of them emergency landed due to damages received from gunfire from land, one marine is reported dead.
- Crew and rest of the marines evacuated, damaged Mi-8 destroyed on land.
- All RF's strike aircrafts from now on will be escorted by fighter jets on their missions.
- "Moskva" cruiser, equipped by S-300, will be put on duty to up air defence in the region over the Syrian coastline.
- All targets that pose potential threat to the RF airforce will be destroyed.
- All contacts with Turkish military representatives are stopped.
