US is allowed to, Russia isn't. And Turkey was done with Russia's bullshit, rightfully so.

Turkey is the same country who is a repeat offender of Syrian and Greek airspace and have even defined themselves a 5km area of Syrian airspace for "protection". NATO will probably be focused on defusing tensions and Putin will make the energy interests of Erdogan in Syria ten times harder. It was a bad political move all around, no matter how much you try to spin it.
