To save Tomb Raider the franchise, SE needs all the fanservice they could make out of it plus the controversy and the shipping wars between Lara and the Elena and Chloe shippers means discussions, more promo etc. A shirtless Nate would be the cherry on top of it. :-p
And free Tomb Raider PS2 games won't hurt too.
