Well; here is my stance on this.
I would pick the 100 most useful and able bodies for the boats. Probably no children would make it; as they cannot take care of themselves for the most part.
When it comes to Women/Men; the most experienced, intelligent, and tough ones would get through. Who can provide and bring the most to the group.
But that's basically survival of the fittest; which in general is widely considered to be inhumane. So I would be kicked off and probably drown/die so that they may continue to argue and waste time.
At the end there would be a 50/50 split to those supporting my idea and those that can't give up the weak/elderly/children; so nothing would get accomplished and everybody would eventually die.
