How will the 3rd partie's use of amiibos in the future be?

I dont even think nintendo will support older amiibos.

Why would they? when they can make money selling you the "new" mario amiibo instead?
The old ones might only work with the Wii U, theres more profit in it for them, if they force people to use newer versions they have to buy instead (for the NX).

With 3rd party, I could see a amiibo getting made that then just works for 1-2 games, and then is never used again.
