Bloodborne revolutionized the pace and tactics of the Soul Series for me and made it extremely fun. Sure it has its lame tactics, but when you hit the mark, having no shield is so liberating.
Demon Souls gave me the best world atmosphere since it was the first one I experienced. I will never forget the Asylum=its creepy corridors/sounds gave me such a high level of anxiety pretty similar to the first Silent Hill.
Dark Souls 1&2 felt to me like improvements on the Demon Souls formula with tweaks to game play and grander story lines.
So I rank them based on how they make me feel. Bloodborne > Demon Souls > Dark Souls > Dark Souls 2.
