I think this depends on how much Naughty Dog has learned and applies from making the Last of Us.

From an overall 'gameplay' perspective I think Tomb Raider 2013 was better than any of the Uncharteds (if you haven't played through with just bow and arrows I highly recommend it!). Not that the Uncharteds weren't great, because they are. I really love them all! I just enjoyed the combat and level design of TR a little better. It 'borrowed' the best bits of Uncharted's game play and added a level of depth and progression to the whole thing. Plus it offers a bit better implementation and balance of puzzles/exploration.

But then Naughty Dog went and made the Last of Us, which takes that formula and refines it well beyond both Uncharted and TR. That game is in a whole different league!!!

Granted I haven't played the new TR yet (looks really great)., but I still think it's a wait and see. If the new Uncharted is more of the same I might lean toward TR. But if it takes the best bits of the Last of Us and applies them to the Uncharted formula it's going to be tough to beat.

Plus Uncharted/The Last of Us both have infinitely better story telling/dialog. Where as the story telling in TR is just HORRIBLE..

I think that's what I love most about Tomb Raider.  Through the entire game, your growing.  You're learning new moves, getting new gadgets, and getting better weapons.  Meanwhile, in Uncharted, whatever ability you have on the first level is the same ability you have on the last level.  I enjoy watching the story unfold but I never really feel like I've personally grown.

The Last of Us did do this well, though.
