Nothing wrong with downgrades. Means there is still plenty of room for upgrades next gen!
Fallout's lighting isn't very good. It's hard to see sometimes, both during the day and night. It's time for a new engine. The game is a lot of fun regardless. I've been using a glitch on the console version to get around the size limit for settlements. So far it's all still running fine with over 50% more build as it initially let me after clearing out most of Sanctuary. It's starting to look like a real town.
