I've got a the similar kinda set-up. I find that the batteries work like a charm on the Wii Motes and dont have to be charged very often. Maybe once a week playing approx. 4 hours every day or two. There is however a problem with the recharables in the wireless sensor bar. They work great for the first few hours but then as the batteries weaken so does the bars ability to read the Wii mote. If your playing games the dont require you to point and use a cursur then the rechargables work pefect. So games like Guitar Hero, Fire Emblem and Mario Galaxy will be fine but games like Metroid Prime, Link's Crossbow and Rayman give me troubles after the first couple hours. Just gotta make sure my batteries are at full juice if planning a sessions with one of those.
