I dont understand why some people are in defense mode in regards of this announcement, or with the "Oh! So now BC matters because the Ps4 is getting it" attitude.

Nobody said that the BC on the X1 was worthless, just that it wasnt a system seller feature. Just like it wont be a system seller feature on the Ps4, but a nice addition nonetheless.
