A lot of people have realised that they actually want / need a physical keyboard with their tablet. So people are going for ultrabooks and hybrids rather than pure tablets. I reckon Surface pro is probably benefitting here but whether it's sales are tracked under tablets or hybrids I don't know. For sure everyone I know who has a surface has the keyboard permanently attached.
Personally I don't see the point of having a tablet with keyboard attached when you're paying a much higher price compared to a straight laptop with the same specs, and all you're getting is less memory and a touchscreen.
