Tbh you would think that the developers would have at least made this game their take on The Game of Life, then I think it would have had a chance of being a competent board game. I mean this game is no Fortune Street or Dokopon Kingdon.

Now that you said it, that would be a great idea. But, in the end, we've got this... "game". It was clearly a misstep from Nintendo from a quality point of view. But I won't be surprise that this will end selling well just because it has Animal Crossing in its title. If it was intended as a cash-grab, maybe they'll suceed, and that will be just sad.
