http://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcraft-celebrates-11th-birthday-with-in-game-gifts/

World of Warcraft came out in North America on November 23 2004 (Europe had to wait until February 11 2005), which means in about a week we'll have to stop using the catchy phrase "ten-year-old game" and throw in a couple of extra syllables. It does means extra goodies for WoW players though.

Paradox only started its series of Stellaris dev diaries a few weeks ago, and already it's on number 9. This one expands on the galaxy generation explanation from the third diary, getting down to the level of individual planets and their makeup.

A STUDIO IS TRYING TO GET THE FIRST TWO BUBSY GAMES ON STEAM

http://www.pcgamer.com/a-studio-is-trying-to-get-the-first-two-bubsy-games-on-steam/

Hey, remember Bubsy? He had two platformers on both SNES and the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive) back in the '90s. I think it's fair to say he was a failed mascot, especially with Bubsy 3D widely considered one of the poorest PS1-era games. He must have some friends out there though, because studio Retroism has happened upon the rights to Bubsy and wants to bring him back.

>>I think I'm starting to show my age. First I mention a show from the 80's, and now I have to say that I did remember Bubsy.

GODZILLA WOUD BE AWESOME AS AN OCULUS VR GAME, FAN PROJECT SHOWS WHY WE DESPERATELY NEED ONE

http://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/godzilla-woud-be-awesome-as-an-oculus-vr-game-fan-project-shows-why-we-desperately-need-one/

Chances are most of our readers love dinosaurs. And if you’re like us, then you most probably love Godzilla. And let’s face it; there hasn’t been a good Godzilla game – if any at all – on the PC. But that could very well change as a Godzilla game is a perfect fit for the Oculus Rift. In fact, a Godzilla VR game would be a killer-app if this fan project is anything to go by.

>>Ok, I admit it. This is not a piece of news per se, but after the other stories that made me feel old, I needed something to feel better, and what's better than the idea of being a giant mutated lizard and destroy everything? Don't forget to check the link to see a video of the rudimentary demo.
