I have never seen one console get so many pledge drive articles to beg people to buy it. Enough people own the console now and it will provide a lot of content from here on. If you have an Xbox One, there's a lot to do on it, MS had always made sure that was going to happen. There's no shame in buying an Xbox One. When I see articles like this, they're creating their own inferiority complex with owning the console. Are you enjoying the console, or do you just want other people to buy it because you don't like being out of the status quo? It's just plastic, have fun with it.
I think for the most part, people don't even consider that E3 reveal as a purchasing point. It's ironic that he accuses people of treating the Xbox One like a boogeyman when that's exactly what he's doing with those E3 conferences.
