Snippity! Going straight from SNES to N64, I remember the initial wtf factor being huge. PSX basically only added a second set of shoulder buttons (not very trigger-like at that point) and grips to the SNES controller, very easy to adapt aside from symbols instead of letters. If there's a "brats / fogies react" video with it, the results wouldn't shock me. The confusing point isn't a particularly important one, but it is a descriptor not often applied to gen 4 or later controllers.
