It's a good thing because people like buying amiibo. It's good for people who like amiibo and bad for those who don't. The shared software will be the same. It will have content walled off to people who don't own the other. Good for people who own both - bad for people who own one. It's a great thing for Nintendo because there's no negative impact on their end, just like with Amiibo.
