It certainly does matter, 60 fps is a crucial part of the CoD experience and the primary reason people continue to play years after release is for multiplayer. Frankly, the last gen version is a bad deal for me because I play the campaigns. But for the many that are just play or are fine with multiplayer, last gen is a viable option. They still might be multi million sellers on last gen. |
Dude they started gimping Call of Duty when Ghosts came out. Not in terms of content but on a graphical level, Ghosts was a downgrade from Black Ops 2, MW3, maybe even MW2. Advanced Warfare was only worse on last gen and now with black ops 3 there's even LESS effort put into the engine and now a major chunk of content is cut. Im not afraid to admit that I love the CoD games for their competitive nature. With that being said, they have definitely been half adding the last few releases on last gen.
EDIT - I totally quoted the wrong post/person. My bad
