Play a game with the option (e.g. Last of Us remastered) and you really see the difference. In fact when i tried it, it feels unplayable. But 30fps is not unplayable, when I'm playing one I gradually adjust.
But I can still tell what fps a game is when I play it for the first.
Everyone will have a different opinion, depending on things such as:
-Capability/development of brain (This does NOT mean you are stupid if you struggle to see 60fps)
-Visual equipment, TV/monitors, there are a variety of different hardware and software technologies that make displays unequal.
-Tendency of your favourite genres to use a certain fps
Btw I've just checked my Physical game collection of current gen (PS4 and X1) and every single one is 60fps. That surprised me tbh but I am somebody who values 60fps, but will play 30fps.
