60Fps - is it really that important?

Yeah. Nothing new under the sun. Overblown "Console Wars" rhetoric dates back at least to the early 90s.

"Blast Processing makes games objectively better!" said the Sega fan.

"No, Mode 7 makes games objectively better!" said the Nintendo fan.

Meanwhile, I was enjoying both Super Mario World and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and thinking they both looked and played great.

 

And both games were 60fps! :D
