Your post further supports my point , Realism is a quality that many gamers look for and appreciate in games often the maturer/hardcore gaming market . I'm not making any reference to sales performance , Nintendo could make a game that killed Halo & GT5 sales combined but that wouldn't detract anything from my main point. The type of gamer that is likely to pick up GT5 for the PS3 or Halo 4 for the XBOX 360 is unlikely to go for a Wii alternative as it'll offer a completley different experience. Nintendo is currenctly unable to apeal to this segment of the market and probably never will do , but they don't neccaserily need to they have profited more from this gen than Sony & Microsoft have from the respective consoles , but my point still remains that they aren't direct competitors. If Sony stopped supporting the PS3 tommorow the XBOX 360 would likely benefit far more than the 360 In the same way the PS3 would benefit the most from the demise from of the 360 I don't really think either the PS3 or the 360 would benefit signifcantly form the demise of the Wii, it may even hurt the games market more. BTW , I don't care :)

You are talking about gamers like me. Gamers that look for realism in games and you totaly fail to pinpoint me but you are describing your preferences then actuall gamers.
A real gamer is thankful for the direction Nintendo has taken. It really wouldn mutter who did it just that someone took the step away from upgrading graphics only every gen and now were are evolving gaming in it self instead with a performance boost in graphics even if it´s not at the level of MS and Sony.
So stop being a fanboy and start coming with some real facts or non fanboy opinion not what you wish reality and gamers would be.
