I thought it was a pretty good Direct. TP:HD is a remaster, not a remake, and the textures are obviously and noticeably improved. I imagine if it hadn't leaked several weeks ago (leading to plenty of speculation time) people would be far happier than they are. I also thought Star Fox: Zero looked noticeably better than the E3 build, and April is fine for me. Add to that a fantastic line-up of RPGs for 3DS, and nice surprises like Cloud in Smash and Generation 1 Pokemons coming to 3DS Virtual Console, and I thought it was good overall.
Sure, a handful of games I have no interest in, but Xenoblade, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, Final Fantasy: Explorers, Bravely Second, Star Fox: Zero, Twilight Princess HD and Fire Emblem: Fates in the next 5 months is great for me. Add to that Zelda U, Fire Emblem x SMT, Dragon Quest VII & VIII further out and things don't look bad for two systems that are on their way out, one of which is an enormous commercial failure. Plus, I think we'll see at least a couple more Wii U titles for 2016 and some more localisations for 3DS, too. And there's next month's Smash broadcast to look forward to.
