For the most part I agree. This gen of consoles is weak and I'd rather developers focus on improving the quality of play rather than visuals. Shitty console warz vitriol at the start of the gen shaping a gen of poorly performing/half gen games just so they can hit 1080p. It's sad.
I read about people wanting this gen to last as long as last gen. Ugh, please no. I really hope the new Nintendo console is something real powerful and third party companies take it seriously. That would really light a fire under MicroSony for their next consoles.
