Wii fit was based off of sumo wrestlers having to step on two scales because they are too big for most single scales, and then trying to balance on them.
Besides, who really cares... let the lawyers sort it out if needed. There can always be cross licensing of patents, etc... if needed. Consumers win if there is competition.
