This is exactly why I said about arcades being the sort of place motion controls *would* have found a home, had they still existed. I really do miss arcades :(
It really is down to suitability. Bowling games. Golf games and such are great fun with motion controls. Football on the otherhand, impossible to replicate. My favourite use of motion control really was FPS. But even then you had to accept less accuracy etc. which ruins gaming from a competition aspect.
