I use puncuation deliberately unless I overlook something. I'll tend to use two exclamation marks to show I'm not being serious but thought I only needed one there, and I'll use ellipsis to show sarcasm or tongue in cheek, or sometimes to express shying away from a statement I've just made, as if I'm 'wincing' at my own statement. I like you as a poster ...
