I get what you're trying to say, but the word "nextgen" doesn't mean "looks/plays significantly better." Nextgen means the next generation of hardware. Technically, nothing on PC can ever be called lastgen, currentgen, or nextgen, because PCs don't have generations that are defined the way that consoles do.
If you want to say that PC games look better than their console counterparts, why not just say that? Why do people (not just the OP, but a LOT of people) feel the need to slap a buzzword on it?
