i agree with stof. it sounds like your pleased with the games that are out now and therefore will be happy with the games coming out later. You're probably gonna want at least 2 controllers at some point so you can play with friends, but if you're really into rumble just wait to buy rumble controllers later. The non-rumble controller won't go to waste cuz one of your mooching friends can use it while you use the rumble version.
PS I got F1 last Thursday and I'm loving it. If you're really into F1 racing and racing sims, you'll probably have a blast. Moreso than any other game, it really makes me feel like I made a good choice with the PS3 because I can't get an equivalent on any other system.
My Top 5:
Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger
My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3
and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
