Well..I have an Xbox One and I do not find the game "broken" by any means.
The game is more than enjoyable and fully playable. In a single player game I do not mind if this happen (very rarely...)
While I would have love the game studio to try to optimize their old engine a bit better, I have no doubt that they tried.
Also investing into a new engine requires a lot of resources so until they do games may have some performance issues, no big deal as the game fully playable and the content is amazing as always with them.
