The only people trying to convince you that 2015 was the greatest gaming year in history is MS, and that's more centered toward their first party portfolio than anything.
The main titles from this year that I'm interested in would be Battlefront 3 and Black Ops 3. Next year comes Uncharted 4 though, Ratchet & Clank and Persona 5. Plus with impending news on the NX... yeah, I think 2016 will be all around better. If MS can get a Gears of War out then 2016 will without a doubt have a leg up.
