AMD CATALYST 15.11 BETA DRIVER RELEASED – OPTIMIZED FOR CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS III

AMD has released the Catalyst 15.11 Beta driver that includes quality and performance optimizations for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. AMD users, be warned however that flickering may be observed when running the game in DX11 mode and with AMD Crossfire enabled.

TOM CLANCY’S RAINBOW SIX: SIEGE WILL GET 4 NEW MAPS & NEW GAME MODES IN ITS FIRST YEAR FOR FREE

Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six: Siege will receive 4 new maps and new game modes – that will be available for free to everyone immediately – in its first year. In addition, the game will receive new operators and weapon skins can that can be unlocked with earned currency called Renown, or with R6 Credits.

 

GEARBOX’S BATTLEBORN DELAYED UNTIL MAY 3RD

Take-Two revealed – via its financial results – that Gearbox’s first person shooter, Battleborn, has been delayed until May 3rd. Take-Two did not reveal the reasons of this delay. The game was meant to be released on February 9th, meaning that it got delayed a month (probably due to re-scheduling and not because the team needed more time).

TRINE 3: THE ARTIFACTS OF POWER – LATEST UPDATE ADDS NEW LEVEL & SUPPORT FOR STEAMOS

Frozenbyte has announced a free content update to the physics-based platformer Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, originally released in August this year. The update is now available and includes a free new level, as well as official support for SteamOS and Linux. Also included are various minor fixes and improvements, such as mid-level checkpoints for the Lost Page levels.
