Following yesterday's mounting pile of evidence suggesting Blizzard's team-based shooter is coming to consoles, it appears GameStop is currently taking pre-orders for Overwatch on PS4 and Xbox One.
Kotaku reached out to a store in New York City this morning and was told the location is taking currently taking pre-orders for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions of Overwatch, and that the game will be priced at $60 USD.
IGN has also contacted several GameStop locations in New York and received a similar response. Additionally, one store in Connecticut told us the game is currently titled "Overwatch: Origins Edition."
We've reached out to Blizzard for comment and will update this story as soon as we hear back. (Update: A Blizzard representative simply told IGN, "We are excited to share more information about Overwatch with everyone at BlizzCon this weekend - so be sure to tune in to the opening ceremonies for free at www.BlizzCon.com.”)
