Others have said that this is softward only, which stands to reason: MS manufactures and sells the hardware and the software; Activision Blizzard only manufactures and sells the software.

So how are you using a data basely only on software and it's game sales estimates made by this site to make a game sales estimate in proportion with a data based on hardware + software?

If Destiny numbers are software only, there is simple no constant to base a comparision into. That 1.23x you created using 400/325 to estipulate Halo sales would be 1.23x higher than Destiny makes no sense at all, when the two numbers you used into that division does not represent the same kind of data.

325M software revenue generating 2.43M sales does not link in any way with 400M hardware + software revenue to generate proportionally more than those 2.43M. You have to eliminate that hardware variable from there so you could have two similar equations (325Y = 2.43 =/= 325*1.23XY = 2.43X*1.23). See the problem? That X that stands for hardware revenue, while it's there you can't combine those two equations to use them together, you need to get rid of it (which will change the 325*1.23 proportion, making it go lower, can even go lower than 0 if software revenue alone doesn't account for a total of at least 325M) so you can work with your same variable Y of software revenue. With this kind of PR there is simply no way to even try to gauge Halo software sales. Which was very intentional.

I was only establishing a high water mark for the potential software sales.
