I've never paid $60 for a game. I will for Xenoblade though.
I guess it depends on the type of game and the enjoyment that you get out of it. I've paid less than 20 for long games that were really fun.... Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne for example, but that wasn't "AAA...
Ideally, if I'll buy a game for more than $40, its most likely a JRPG, which usually have tons of content. That has spoiled me.
