Absolutely hysterical. Anybody can review, maybe people should make their own opinion on a game if they can't handle a differing opinion. At the end of the day, does a 6/10 or a 9/10 change the quality of the game? Absolutely bloody not. |
This is true. He has regularly been pretty hard and unwavering on major titles regardless of PS/XBox/Multiplat status. But when some people see him not giving high grades to games that they favor, suddenly it's a big deal.
It's all relative anyway, we all have different tastes and preferences. It's too bad game demos aren't as common as they used to be, they help people avoid bad games and give a look at others that they might otherwise not know about or have given a chance.
To some people, Halo 5 will be a 10/10, and that's perfectly legit FOR THEM. For me, just from the few minutes I spent with it, it would be a 4/10 or less personally. I don't gaf about the story, I don't like the MP style, it's just not my bag. Does my 4/10 mean anything to anyone else? Hell no, and it shouldn't.
As for me, Halo 5 is not interesting enough for me to spend hundreds of dollars on, and nothing else on X1 besides maybe Forza 6 is available or upcoming that I have the slightest interest in. I dumped my X1 after being severely disappointed in Forza 5, and have no regrets. Maybe I'll pick one up for $100ish at the end of the gen to play a few titles that I missed.
