I don't think he was explicitly comparing the graphics. Just the actual games themselves.

It's even worse, since Ratchet & Clank is a 3D Plateformer and Starfox a 3D shmup

But he isn't even trying to compare the games. He's just asking people what they think about both of them. I assume the reason why he chose those two games for this "versus" thread is because they both have animals in space pretty much.

Here's what he said in the OP:

"What do you think about both? 

Which game will be better and which game will you buy? "

When comparing two games the comparison needs to make sense though. Belonging to the same genre is the first place one should start. Otherwise we'd get threads like Zelda vs. Horizon.
