Campaign's length is a serious flaw. I don't remember the last time I finished a game in less than 6 hours on a first playthrough. The difficulty excuse is ridiculous because a game's length is not determined by the number of times you die and respawn. As long as you play it skillfully and avoid death or keep it at minimum, higher difficulty settings will not add that much to the playtime. This is unless you're speedrunning.


The way Halo campains are structured the only way they make they longer is bloating each level with more waves of enemies or make bullet sponge bosses...

that is Destiny in a nuttshell.

Bungie might have realised that with Firefight. In Reach FF was the best and fastest way to level up and unlock armor pieces.

I have more problems with the first 2/3 of the campain because I have little idea of Chief and Lock motivations . The last third thought is preaty good emotional wise.
