people still dont get it
PvZ: Generic Third Person Shooter in cartoony look
Splatoon:
- New game modes never seen before in any shooter (turf war, tower control, rainmaker, splat zones)
- Paint and inklings mechanics completly new (get invisible in own ink, faster movement in own ink etc.)
- Unique weapon types and mechanics like buckets, brushes, roller. No game ever had those types of weapons.
- Weapons have a range. They dont shoot "infinite" like on most other modern shooter. So distance between players also become very important.
Here is it why splatoon is unique and fresh and PvZ is just one of hundrets similar shooters.
