The rpgs you played are Jrpgs. Fable is a WRPG. Go buy a WRPG such as morrowind or baldur's gate, then we can compare. |

Fable 2 is unlikely to be as linear as most JRPG's are. Also, the combat won't be turn-based it will be real time. Fable was largely unique, and the sequel is looking to do some things that are rare nowadays such as co-op (IN AN RPG!!!), an artificial intelligence dog that accompanies you and acts as a guide, defender and companion, interaction with XBLA games to earn money, and a world that is meant to be VERY responsive to your actions over time.
