Into the Nexus was a mainline game... I'm not taking digs at R & C, I'm just using facts (because I think R & C is more interesting anyway). Sales of the franchise have been dwindling for many years now. The PS demographic has outgrown this franchise. How is the argument about budgets nonsensical? This game even has a movie to support it. The difference in budgets is huge. Price of the games doesn't change anything about that. It just shows that Sony isn't confident that games like these still sell well anymore at full price. As for Star Fox, the game looks like it has been cobbled together in a year. What's next? Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival vs Horizon? They bought have animals in it. |
Your argument is contradictory.
Sony doesn't have faith in the game, but it should be held to a higher standard than Star Fox?
Also, what metric are you using to make that comparison? Are you saying we should expect R&C to sell better, even though you just said Sony doesn't have faith in it, or should we expect it to be a better game?
